ACER review of NEMOs’ EU market-algorithm amendment remains underway
Regulatory reviewNo material change versus the prior event state. The supplied ACER notice confirms the existing stakeholder-feedback deadline of 31 August 2026 and ACER’s expected decision date of 21 January 2027.
The proposed changes—three intraday auctions using flow-based capacity calculation, a concrete implementation deadline for flow-based allocation in intraday auctions, and revised timing for publication of single day-ahead coupling results—remain subject to ACER’s regulatory decision.
The event remains at regulatory review. If adopted, the amendments could materially affect intraday auction design, cross-border capacity allocation and the timing of day-ahead market-coupling outputs; however, the source does not establish the final methodology or an implementation date.
